As a journalist Dawn Mellowship has written health and beauty related articles for Natural Health and Beauty, High Spirit, Positive Health and Tonic magazine. In the past Dawn has written a regular monthly column for Natural Health and Beauty, entitled, Soul Searching, where Dawn answered reader's questions about life from a spiritual perspective.

Dawn spent some months acting as features editor of Tonic Magazine, a women's lifestyle publication. Dawn had the pleasure of writing articles about health, fitness, fashion, natural beauty products, ethical products, emotive issues such as, domestic violence, binge drinking and anorexia and interviewing celebrities. Some of the celebrities Dawn has interviewed include: Leelee Sobieski, Maggie Grace, Clare Short MP, Nicky Hambleton-Jones, Ben De Lisi, Paula Hamilton, Normandie Keith, Heather Small, Jenni Falconer, Patrick Holford, Gillian McKeith, Annabelle Apsion and Toyah Wilcox.

Dawn currently writes a monthly ethical fashion column and celebrity features for women's health, beauty and wellbeing magazine, High Spirit, which was launched nationwide in UK stores in May 2008. Dawn also regularly contributes articles to the magazine about health related and environmental issues and spiritual development.
